NIKKI SIXX Uses Homophobic Slur To Describe JOHN MAYER Concert (Video)

August 31, 2012

According to RadarOnline.com, MÖTLEY CRÜE/SIXX: A.M. bassist Nikki Sixx used a homophobic slur to describe the fans of American pop singer-songwriter John Mayer during a concert in Phoenix, Arizona earlier this month.

Sixx was trying to get the crowd pumped up during CRÜE's August 10 show with KISS when said into his microphone (see video below),"Someone said to me, 'Fuck, it's gonna be hot [during tonight's show]. It's gonna be too fucking hot. I said, 'Fuck you, motherfucker. Those are MÖTLEY CRÜE fans and KISS fucking fans. They don't give a fuck! They don't give a fuck! This isn't a goddamn John Mayer fucking f***t concert, now is it? Is this a fucking Madonna concert, motherfuckers? Is it MÖTLEY CRÜE and KISS? Hell yeah."

Sixx made headlines in 1997 when he yelled obscenities and racial slurs at a security guard at a CRÜE concert in Greensboro, North Carolina who the bassist thought was being rough with some fans.

In a 2001 online chat with readers of USA Today, Sixx explained his actions by saying, "I am the least racist human being I know. I could really care less what color, sex, what sexual orientation you are. That incident proved to me that's what anger can do. That gentleman had spit in my face and yelling obscenities at me. If he was a woman I'd called him a bitch. He was black and I called him the worst thing I could. I've apologized to him. It was the wrong thing to do at the heat of the moment. I know a lot of racists, and I don't condone it. It's the dumbest thing I've ever done. If I'm hearing 'n***er' [while watching rap videos] on MTV, there's a chance I'll use the word, right?"
